Gold is all I trade. Reading it is all I teach.
My name is Dagnis Vane. Most people just call me KD. Every trading day I sit down at the same chart, mark my levels, and publish exactly what I see. The good reads and the wrong ones.
One market. One process. Every single day.
Most traders spread themselves across twenty pairs and master none of them. I went the other way. Years of screen time on a single chart, gold, until its rhythm through the London and New York sessions became familiar ground.
What I publish is the routine I run for myself every morning: mark the levels, read the structure, define the risk, then wait. No predictions dressed up as certainties. No lifestyle promises. When I'm wrong, you'll see that too.
On the broker side I work as an official partner of PU Prime, and I've been working with them for a good while now. More on that further down, disclosure included.
Coffee and levels
Before London wakes up: where did Asia leave the chart, what got swept overnight, which levels matter today.
London open
The first real move of the day. I watch how price treats my marked levels. Most of the time the right trade is no trade.
New York steps in
The overlap of the two sessions is where gold usually shows its hand. This is where patience gets paid, or protected.
Review and publish
Win or lose, I record the breakdown: what I saw, what I did, what I'd do differently. That's the part you see on TikTok.
The questions everyone asks, answered straight.
No jargon walls, no mystique. This is the foundation I wish someone had handed me at the start.
01What is trading, actually?
+
At its core: buying or selling something because you believe its price is about to change, and managing how much you lose when you're wrong. In gold trading you're not stacking bars in a vault. You trade contracts that track the price of gold against the US dollar, which is what XAUUSD means.
Most retail trading happens with leverage: the broker lets you control a large position with a small deposit. Leverage multiplies both directions. It's the reason small accounts can grow fast, and the reason most of them blow up. Respecting that is lesson one, and it never stops being lesson one.
02What are signals and copy trading?
+
A signal is a message from another trader: their entry price, stop loss and take profit for a trade they're taking. Copy trading goes a step further, with platforms that automatically mirror another trader's positions in your account, sized to your balance.
Here's what people rarely say out loud: following someone else's trades teaches you almost nothing, and you inherit all of their risk without any of their context. Your fill price differs, your account size differs, and when a trade goes wrong you don't know why, so you can't tell a normal loss from a broken process.
That's why everything I publish shows the reasoning, not just the outcome. If you understand why a level matters, you own that knowledge forever. Nobody can take it away or charge you rent on it.
03Why gold? What actually moves it?
+
Gold has been treated as money for thousands of years, and it still behaves like the market's memory of that. A few forces do most of the heavy lifting: the US dollar (gold is priced in dollars, so a strong dollar usually pressures it), real interest rates (gold pays no yield, so it shines when yields fall), central banks (which buy tonnes of it as reserves), and plain old fear. When the world gets nervous, money runs to gold.
For a chart reader it's a beautiful market: deep, liquid, respectful of levels, and most active exactly when London and New York are awake. One market with this much character is enough for a lifetime.
04Can I actually learn this for free?
+
Yes. The daily breakdowns on TikTok are free and always will be. That's how I learned too: no courses, no mentorship fees, just charts, losses and repetition. Watch the breakdowns for a month and you'll start seeing the same levels I see before I say them. That's the point.
One thing money can't buy anyway: screen time. Open a demo account, watch London open for thirty sessions, and you'll have learned more than any paid course could teach you.
Nothing here is for sale.
I'm not here to sell you a course, a mentorship or a dream. I taught myself this craft without paying anyone a penny for it, and I share everything free because I know you can do the same. All it really costs is patience and screen time.

Partnered with PU Prime.
I trade with PU Prime, a regulated multi-asset broker, and I've worked with them officially for a good while now. It's the platform behind the charts you see in my breakdowns. If you ever wonder what I'm trading on, that's the answer.
Disclosure: this is a commercial partnership. Choose a broker on your own research, not on anyone's endorsement, mine included.
The breakdowns are free. Come watch.
